Iowa has more than 350 vineyards and five wine trails where Marechal Foch, St. Croix, Catawba and La Crosse are grown and produced. Before Prohibition, Iowa ranked sixth-largest grape producer in the nation.

Corn Casserole, Family Fruit Soup, Pork Apple Meatballs, Ham and Dried Fruit, BBQ Beef Cups are some of the traditional dishes.
