Chicken-fried-steak, steaks, buffalo, wheat-muffins, rolled wheat spice cake and wildcat swirl bread are some of the specialties that can be enjoyed here.

Prior to 1920 Kansas produced 86 percent of all the wine consumed in the United States. Today, vineyards produce wines from American native grapes, American hybrid and French Hybrid grapes, accumulating more than 300 international awards.
